A suspect in the shooting of a Cagayan de Oro radio anchor surrendered to authorities in Misamis Oriental on Monday after two months of hiding, police said.

Baldomero Pajo, one of the suspects in shooting Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro anchor James Michael Licuanan, surrendered to the Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Office around 4 p.m., provincial police director Senior Supt. Graciano Mijares said.

The 29-year-old Pajo, a resident of Brgy. Natubo, Jasaan, negotiated his surrender with the Army’s 403rd Brigade. He has been turned over to the Cagayan de Oro City Police, Mijares said in a text message.

Licuanan, anchor of the program “Zonalibre,” was injured after being shot in Brgy. Cogon on Nov. 10 while on the way home from work. (John Roson)
