A brother of National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) chief Cayetano Paderanga Jr. and his family were injured when the vehicle they were riding turned turtle in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte, police reported.
Felipe Jose Paderanga, 52, his wife Connie, 44, children Paulin Fatima, 14, Chloe Regina, 13, Adah Muriel, 6, and helpers Melyn Pedrigosa, 22, and Ednalyn Gonzales, 47, were brought by local policemen to the Nasipit District Hospital, Caraga regional police spokesman Supt. Martin Gamba said.
The incident occurred past 8 a.m. Thursday, while the Paderangas, all residents of Cagayan de Oro City, were traveling towards Butuan City on their gray Hyundai Galloper (KEU-296).
Felipe Jose lost control of the steering wheel while driving the sports utility vehicle at a curve along the National Highway in Brgy. Camagong, Gamba said. (John Roson)
