Two unidentified men, possibly salvage victims, were found near a community in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, on Saturday, police reported.

Residents noticed the two bodies dumped in Sitio Bayobo, Brgy. Salvacion, early in the morning and informed local authorities of the discovery around 6 a.m., according a report from the Caraga regional police.

The two men, believed to be in their 30s or 40s, wore black and dirty white short pants and had their hands tied with plastic twine, according to the report.

Both have multiple stab and hack wounds on the different parts of the body which are believed to have caused their death.

People living near the scene told local police that they saw an unidentified man stop by the area the night before the bodies were found.

Local police are still trying to determine the identities of both the victims and their killers. (John Roson)
